Yes, usually I post these Thursday evening my time. However, since I accidentally finished most of the page last week I figured I'd post it around Thursday noon to try and catch the tide of Twitter and hopefully have Merlin catch it before they went to bed.

I wish I had missed the last 7 years of political circus. It's a widely-used meme about political regret.

Basically it refers to voting for or enacting some horrible policy only to have to affect you as well as the people you intended it to target.
