This is a bit repetitive, but I thought it would be worth posting, in any event. This is the revised prologue to the new Winterbough Saga story, "Touched." Certain additions were made with the help of 
Walt46, and I felt they were important enough to merit a reposting. You can, if you like, skip this, but some of the additional details *do* add some flavour.
