I thought my first character reference sheet would have been for Frost, but I decided to start with my ghost hunters, since their story will be the first to TRULY come to life. I have already given a fairly lengthy backstory for Fianate on another piece, but very briefly:

Following the death of her twin brother Finley on their eighteenth birthday, Fianate Kavanagh became fascinated with the paranormal, desperate to find some sort of answer to the question of what, if anything, awaits us on the other side. She was invited to join a popular crew of paranormal investigators called East Coast Paranormal, who investigate reported hauntings in the New England area and post their findings on social media. Her sharp-edged wit quickly made her a fan favourite with ECP's followers, but she became disillusioned with the group when they began to fake evidence for views. Eventually, she left to begin her own series of investigations. However as time went on, and one haunted site after another provided none of the evidence of life after death that she was looking for, Fianate began to wonder if she was just...well...chasing ghosts.

She might have given up her pursuit of the supernatural if she hadn't begun to hear gossip about a strange man, an excommunicated priest, no less, who seems to be followed by paranormal activity wherever he goes. To Fianate, tracking him down seems like a step toward finding the answers she is looking for.
