Today (Oct 11) is a special day to honor the memory of my dear friend Tiger. On the same day last year, in the morning, he died in my arms and was buried in the forest, far from the mushroom paths, in a quiet and serene place. This year Tigrik was supposed to be 9 years old, but due to a sharp deterioration in health, he could not cope. I miss him very much and will never forget. The Tiger will forever remain in my heart and soul. Small sun. I believe that Bastet is guarding Tigrik and helped to pass into a new life, therefore, wherever he is now, I hope he is happy and lives a full carefree life. Be happy and free, my dear friend. One day we can meet somewhere in the wild meadows and then I will hug you tightly, saying how much I missed you, how much I love you ...

I made this drawing based on several photos of the Tiger sniffing tulips. He always loved flowers and was extremely curious. When he sniffed tulips, he was so cute with the look of a little kitten that my brother could not resist and took some pictures. I wanted to convey that sweet and wonderful atmosphere, to depict Tigrik as alive and curious. The tribute to his memory should not be sad, I know that he would not want me to be sad and therefore I try to keep only good moments in my memory. And I wanted to share one of these with others. I hope I succeeded. The background is pure improvisation, I wanted to try it in bokeh style. I know that maybe not very well, but I like to draw Tigrik in nature, he was very fond of the country house and free walks. And I wanted him to be in his favorite place in this drawing too.

And I wanted to thank my dear friends helped me cope and stay strong when the Tigrik left me and went on his new adventure. Thank you, I really appreciate what you are doing for me and for Tiger too.
