Not too savvy on the collage this time, but that's simply because I was busy taking photos of other people or having mine taken by someone else (which, seriously, I wish someone could upload/find them!).
This was the first time I've "taken" Cobalt to a convention as well. It was only for a few hours, but OH MAN SO FUN! Of all my cosplays, this one is the most relaxing (and creative since it's a custom) to wear and pose with. It was pretty awesome to see 4-5 other Hunters too, though we could never get them all in one area.
I think I got more hugs than photos...xD
p.s: All my "make-up" is daggerleonelli's watercolour paints.

I suggest this for facial use unless you don't mind being slightly sticky. I mean it looks like real blood and has a nice consistency, I usually do this when I go on casual walk around the neighborhood but uh too many creepy folk like to see a bleeding chick. but um yeah all you need is chocolate syrup, corn starch and red food coloring and a bit of warm water. I like to experiment so I don't have an exact recipe to follow but here's one similar to what I use.
* 2/3 c. Corn Syrup
* 1/3 c. Warm Water
* 5 Tbsp Corn Starch
* 4 tsp red food coloring
* 1 Tbsp Powdered Cocoa
* 2 drops of green or yellow food coloring
except I would substitute the cocoa and corn syrup with just chocolate syrup instead
mix the starch with the the syrup and slowly adding the water (unless you want chunky blood you could just throw it all in)
mix it till it's thick adding in more water and then the red food coloring
I will say that the drops of yellow or green food coloring is optional since it looks pretty real enough with the color from the syrup.
I'm of a caramel complexion so I don't know if it'll stain your skin, I did have a bit of difficulty getting it off my hands but the result were worth it.

And I know (kinda) how it is...I mean not so much as in different states and countries but my pack is all over the Mitten State. And it doesn't help that one of them has all the liquid latex for boils xD
I seriously need to make a Nail costume at some point...as of now the only Hunters I have are "random L4D2 Hunter in black" and "Gordon Freeman Hunter."
Poor Nail, he gets no love.
