Following her tour of their territory, Zoey finally bids Juan and Amelia farewell before departing in order to reach another figure she holds close to her.

Final Farewell

It is the final day of Zoey's stay in River territory as courtesy of Juan and Amelia. Together, the two lion chiefs show Zoey around one final time before seeing her off. And before they finally see her off, Juan and Amelia set aside one more moment to call Zoey privately inside of their tent.

"So, why are you guys calling me in here when it's my time to leave? I wasn't planning on staying long anyways." The inquisitive hyena is left wondering what these two lions were pulling her aside for. She didn't do anything wrong, so there must be another reason.

"Before you leave, I had something for you, Zoey. Something that you may like. I'll go get it." Juan spoke up, revealing the reason why he and his wife requested to see Zoey personally.

With her husband leaving to retrieve said item, Amelia is left behind to oversee the female hyena. Interested, she drapes an arm around her and softly rubs her head against the hyena, dragging her closer to her. While doing this, Amelia herself admits, "It pains me to see you go, in spite of the short time we've met each other. But I wish you well on your journey. If you come back sometime, make sure to show us a postcard."

Zoey only giggles, "I don't have that far to go, honestly. Just a short trip to the shoreline and my husband is gonna pick me up via boat. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he's on his way here now."

Once Amelia begins licking her pink mane, Zoey briefly shakes herself to fluff up while giving the lioness a playful nip on the cheek in return. She laughs again and promises, "I'll keep in touch with you guys through letters. You all seem like a friendly bunch for apex predators."

Amelia jokes in return, "Same goes for you, though lions and hyenas are supposed to be natural enemies; instead we're natural friends."

"Yeah, when you're the only one of your kind who's completely different from the rest, it makes your fur crawl in a way." Zoey sighed afterwards. A sudden head pat from above causes Zoey and Amelia to look up to see Juan towering over the female hyena; he must have returned already after fetching the gift he had in mind for her.

"Eh? Juan? What is that you got for me?" Zoey's eyes fall on a blue garment that Juan has draped along his left shoulder. It certainly can't be his, can it?

Taking the garment, Juan fluffs it out to reveal a tribal blue women's dress, and he hands it over to Zoey, urging her, "Try it on! It's for you!"

Taking the outfit, Zoey flushes at the cheeks, "Um, can you two step outside so I can put this on, please?"

"Sure, sure! Moving right along, Zoey!" Juan waltzes out of the chieftain's tent, dragging his wife along by her wrist. Once outside, the male chieftain calls out, "We'll be outside waiting for you!"

The time to change only takes a brief moment, but when Zoey emerges to show off the new outfit, even Amelia is amazed. The tribal outfit consists of a medium-sized blue garment that is wrapped around Zoey's body starting from her left shoulder on down to her right hip, covering her body. Along with this is a blue loincloth girded around her hips, showing off her outer legs. And while the female hyena wiggles around in her new outfit, Amelia comments, "Looks really good on you! Why didn't a certain someone buy me that same outfit?"

"Amelia, that outfit wouldn't have fit you because it's too small for you. You're taller than Zoey so that outfit compliments her perfectly. Besides, we'll have to work together in creating an outfit like that, but in your size." Juan explained calmly in the face of his pouting wife.

"Weeeee! I absolutely love this dress! My hubby will definitely enjoy seeing me with it on! Thanks for the gift, guys!" Zoey is overjoyed and delighted, spinning around in her new outfit to show off even more. She expressed her high hopes that her husband will take delight in seeing her in her brand new outfit, something that Juan and Amelia played a part in. Before leaving though, the two sides had one last thing to share, and that is a parting farewell.

After hugging Juan and Amelia separately, Zoey waves goodbye to the married chiefs during her departure, to which Zoey resolves, "I'll be coming back some time in the future! I'll have a postcard ready!"

While her husband is blowing goodbye kisses to Zoey in a sign of farewell, Amelia watches her go, commenting, "Have fun and stay safe! Come back some time, ya hear?? One day we'll have a double date!!"

Once Zoey leaves the territory, the female hyena breaks into a jog in her flight to reach the riverbed where she can wait to be picked up by her husband.
