The final part of this series shows Dan's fight against a lion warrior to become a warrior of the tribe himself. Will Dan succeed or will he try again?

Tribal Lion Fight

News of Dan's progress unexpectedly and unintentionally spread throughout the community, reaching other tribes in the process. This leaves Dan unsure of how to handle all the attention and eyes on him as a result. And now comes his ultimate challenge: defeat a lion warrior to become a warrior of the tribe.

Dan nervously gazes around his surroundings while gazing back at his opponent: a muscular golden furred, black-maned lion. He seemed ready for the fight. But with Dan increasingly nervous, he wondered just how he'll be able to pull this off without humiliating himself.

Dan's opponent is a warrior of the neighboring Serengeti tribe - Charlie offered to be the opponent for Dan's warrior coronation upon being defeated. And even Bruno and Hughie, another warrior lion from the Serengeti tribe, agreed - this muscular golden furred beast is also present in attendance along with a host of other native indigenous mammals acting as the audience. And the amount of eyes on Dan is making him very nervous.

'I don't know if I can do this… everyone is watching me, being hawks ready to leap at me at any time if I fail this.' Dan stares down at his wrapped hands in silent contemplation amidst the tribal audience. He seems to be crestfallen, yet he clenches his fists in sudden renewed vigor. Raising his head up to stare Charlie down, Dan perks up in his monologue, giving himself a pep talk, 'No! I have to do this, I have to win this! If I want to be a warrior, I have to defeat him; I must defeat him! I can do this!'

Releasing a powerful roar from his lungs, Dan shows that he is ready to fight. Charlie does the same thing and soon, the two lions assume different fighting stances. And following this, a loud drum beat signals the start of the fight.

"Ready when you are, Charlie! Give me all you've got!" Dan announced, taking on a focused air. Charlie does likewise, replying back in return, "Likewise, Dan! Don't expect me to go easy on you!"

The two lions circle each other for a bit when Charlie suddenly lunges at Dan for a tackle. This sends the two lions rolling briefly before separating where Charlie flies off of Dan. Once they get up, the black-maned warrior rushes at Dan again, only to receive an uppercut to the stomach, followed by a jump kick. This knocks Charlie back where the golden warrior stumbles away from him, only to regain his footing and rush back with a sweeping kick to Dan's lower abdomen.

The return kick sends Dan flat on his face. But when he stands up, Charlie grabs his shoulder in an attempt to slug him, which Dan cancels out with a knee to the stomach. The golden challenger follows this up with another kick to the stomach to knock Charlie off, following this up with a swift uppercut to the chin.

Attempting to regain his footing, Charlie falls on his back, panting. Yet seconds later, the lion stands right back up, growling at his opponent. This time, the black-maned lion launches into a forward cartwheel, springing into a flying kick to take Dan down. Unfortunately, this backfires when Dan gets up to tackle Charlie from behind.

When the two lions separate, Dan raises up, waiting for his rival to do the same. When Charlie raises up, Dan leaps at Charlie again for a body slam, which ends up with the two on the ground again. When they separate again, Charlie attempts another lunge at Dan, only for the golden challenger to weave aside to avoid it. The finishing move comes when Dan jumps on Charlie to grab him, only to suplex him into a knockout, thus slamming him headfirst onto the ground.

Those watching in intensity cheer loudly upon witnessing Dan literally knock Charlie out, and even Juan comes forward to congratulate him. The white lion chieftain remarks, "I have never seen a takedown like that before, but you've done a good job in your fight, Dan!"

Even Bruno and Hughie make their way over to congratulate him, to the point where even Hughie hugs him tightly in admiration, "Man, you did really well! I never knew you had that in you! Awesome job and I wish you well on your coronation!"

"Likewise to you, Dan. That was an efficient takedown move you pulled on Charlie! He's one of my best warriors and I assumed this was to be interesting - you showed us all what a rookie can do!" Bruno explained after nodding to Dan.

When the Serengeti natives stop to pick up and wake up their fallen warrior, Dan is led aside by Juan, who gently guides him away from the camp and back to their own territory. Once again, the white lion chieftain congratulates him, "You put on an impressive performance, Dan. And you reached your goal! The coronation ceremony for your warrior status will be held later on. Congrats on your new status!"

Dan draws a breath, relieved that it is finally over. He can do without the warrior status but in appreciation, he still accepts the rank, "Juan, thank you. I appreciate it. I may not be warrior material but I do appreciate it."
