Just wanted to showcase all of my favorite starter Pokémon in each region by having them gather around the campfire late at night. Jirachi is there for aesthetic purposes. ^^

Kanto - Bulbasaur: Poor little Bulbasaur. Having been picked the least compared to Squirtle or even Charmander. And it's also a Grass/Poison type so it's my go-to Kanto Starter whenever I play LeafGreen.
Johto - Chikorita: Like Bulbasaur, Chikorita was left out in the dust and having Cyndaquil and Totodile be picked instead. But to be honest... this was the Pokémon I ended up being when I first started my very first PMD game, Blue Rescue Team. So Chikorita will always hold a place in my heart for me.
Hoenn - Torchic: I think this was my first Starter in Emerald. Torchic looks adorable for a bird-like Pokémon and I literally blazed through the game with my Blaziken. Or was it Mudkip I first chose because of the memes? I dunno. My memory's fuzzy.
Sinnoh - Piplup: Having grown up watching the Diamond and Pearl anime, there's no doubt that I absolutely love Piplup, even though it can be full of itself and not give a darn or two. And it's based off of a penguin, so props for that!
Unova - Tepig: At first, I went with Oshawott when I first started playing the Black version, then Snivy as I grew older, before finally settling on Tepig because it's underrated compared to the former two. Moreso Snivy because of its "Smugleaf" fan nickname. How could you not love this little fire piggy? It's so darn cute!
Kalos - Fennekin: I didn't think too much of Chespin, and Froakie is getting more popular because of its final evolution Greninja. So ultimately, I went with Fennekin as my favorite Kalos Starter. A literal Firefox, if you will. I also like its evolutions Braixen and Delphox for being based off of the magical kitsune, though not to the same extent as Ninetales or even Zoroark. Ah well, Fennekin's cute and I will hug it as long as it doesn't set me on fire.
Alola - Popplio: Poor, poor, Popplio. Cast aside by Rowlet and Litten. It's literally the most underrated starter Pokémon and for good reason! It looks like a clown sea lion you'd find in a circus. And I can't say much for its evolutions Brionne and Primarina due to being more feminine in nature, but hey, femboys exist y'know. I don't care in the slightest. Popplio is my absolute fave.
Galar - Scorbunny: I think it's pretty obvious why I chose this Pokémon as my favorite Galar Starter... part of my username is a hint why. All joking aside, I would die for Scorbunny. Being based off of a rabbit and all, it definitely earns my lifetime respect! I also like how it evolves into Cinderace which is literally just a soccer player. Though I knew that right off the bat because the first word sounds like "score". I don't care what everyone thinks about its evolutions, but Scorbunny is the best. Fite me.
Paldea - Quaxly: At first, I was gonna go with Sprigatito; the grass kitty, but then I took one look at Quaxly, and the rest is history. Seriously, look at its hair. It looks fabulous! Same can be said for Quaxwell and Quaquaval who look even more fab in nature. (The latter is sorta like a peacock if you get my point) I'm slightly disappointed at Fuecoco's evos and Sprigatito ended up becoming bipedal when everyone didn't want it to stand upright. Though I'm happy that they were cool with it anyway. For me, I'm sticking with Quaxly. And that's that.
