The Higherup life is not completely work free, but there is certainly a lot more time to kick back with a glass of wine, go through about a half pack of Zalg-brand herbal cigarettes ("a proud product of Omnipresence; remember, two for one special for a limited time only~"), and let your Underlings keep you company.
Hell, maybe if they do a good enough job, they'll get more than just a pay bonus~ Of course, that feels more like a Patreon early release kind of deal, tee-hee~ (When it's ready, of course, which hopefully won't be too long) After all, a duly diligent Underling worker should be sufficiently... rewarded~

A big part of that is thanks to the idea that the divide between the Higherups and Underlings felt better when done systemic; I'm sure there are genuinely cruel ones in there somewhere, but most of the Higherups aren't intentionally mean, just blind to anything outside their own lives. The Underlings in kind keep any negativity to themselves and, hey, it helps that they might get lucky at any moment that toga starts feeling too warm, tee-hee~
Oh aye, indeed on both accounts~ The Omnipresence Corporation has complete say over the artificial island nation of Nuwekrag, and its core, the tower-city of Nova Potenti. And upon it, guarded by their vast medical and military tech to say nothing of the crack team of Supersoldiers, the Higherups supposedly are trained to run the important functions (which on an island this far advanced basically means pushing a button maybe once a day if you feel like being a workaholic) and the Underlings are trained to fight for the city, maintain the (far more dangerous) vital functions of the Lowermost, and generally serve them. Sometimes that means doing the dirty and dangerous jobs nobody in their right mind or with a steady paycheck would ever even consider doing... sometimes that means getting have a little fun~ Either way, it'll be damn fun to animate~
