Hei strode through the human city. By now his curiosity had hardened into an aloof contempt for the species scurrying around his feet. They exploited the planet, they exploited other creatures, they even exploited themselves. All his attempts to reason a better way forward for them had been met with backlash and violence.
So he just stopped trying.
A pair of helicopters flew too close now, and Hei gave them an annoyed glare - and then grabbed one of them! The wreckage crumples in his hand, and the metal sparks right by a severed gasoline line. There's a fiery burst from between the dragon's cerulean fingers, one that he barely even acknowledges. He's fireproof after all, he's a dragon. Already his attention turns to its partner, circling around in front of Hei, trying to get away! He raises a single hand, curling his finger, to flick it out of the sky.
To those cowering by his bare paws, he had all the grandeur of a god.
