Probably my most detailed piece of art in my FA gallery, certainly the only one with a full background. I must say I am rather proud of it. I've been a fan of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series for about seven years, so it's about time i did some fanart. Great Grey Owls are my favorites :D.

Wow, this is fantastic. @o@ You did very well with this. Keep up the good work!
Maybe in the future when you become more advanced with realism, try not to use too much smudge. Layering on colours with a hard brush usually works very well. eg: with grass, make the base grass blades, then make the colour darker and add those in too, then after that add strokes of lighter colour. Keep layering like this without smudging and it makes for some very nice realistic grass. Patience is really tested though, i admit. xD

When I've got lots of time my patience is nearly limitless, so the finer details on things could be managed, though I really need to get a tablet now that I have a computer that can handle one, it'd make things much easier than having to draw/colour with a mouse lol.
