Personally I don't think this is a death flag for Luna, that said, I suspect she's like this because piece will no number be present for our heroes, and I guess you could say, they'll also lose their innocence too, being forced to see the horrors of chaos, and being deeply involved with the conflict.

I don't know, there was that dream/vision Nigel had where Luna turned into a skull-tentacle monster. I suspect it is more literal than not. I am eager (and mortified) to see just how much so. :`D

To be fair, while I am unsure if 'karma' is justified, but I agree 100% with DOOMTHEDEMONKING, that I have zero sympathy for the character. She hasn't done anything to gain us, the audience any favors, and her actions are very questionable. I find the Guardians and their system to be very flawed; not to mention the Gods are failing against the Corruption. Might be a reason for that since even their best Guardian just turned by seeing a mere vision shown to them.

Agree to disagree. Karma is usually meant as the unexpected negative consequences of one's actions, but in this case Lunas suffering comes from her knowing the fallout and doing what's best for the world anyway.
I, for one, favor Luna over Nigel and think this hatred towards her is uncalled for. Sure we might not understand her reasons to do what she does yet, but that's how devine beings roll, you don't question them because they see the full picture while we don't, even as viewers. As for the guardians, I can see the flaws as well, but that's not Lunas fault, people are flawed, can't do nothing about it. That guardian turning to Chaos doesn't mean that Luna's wrong or evil, it only means that he was manipulated and currupted. Sure Jah'jan presented it as "the truth" but do you really belive him? I don't. He's evil and the embodiment pf Chaos!
I'm honestly surprised how many people just turned against Luna for no apparent reason and criticize her for basically cliche goddes behavior. It's your opinion tho, you have right to think how you think.

It's "Dr Strange vs Thanos" level happenings going on in their little world. Everything she is doing -good or bad- is pointing toward "This way out! -Maybe..." based on the outcomes and "Bad Ends" she can see. She is very likely not going to see those two come home ever, lesser percentage of them coming home minus parts, smaller percentage of them coming home alive. She seems to have severe doubts even she may come out of this. All she can do now is throw a "Hail Mary" and hope it works.

The reasons for such fanatical support for Nigel and vehement animosity toward Luna are very apparent to me, but also very counterfactual, irrational, and blinkered, in my assertion. It's good to see that at least some people have the gumption to understand it's a much more complex situation than A Good, B Bad.

I suspect it might have something to do with perceiving Luna as an oppressor and Nigel as the oppressed. Hmmmm...🤔

So far Nigel has shown no redeeming qualities whatsoever, and his lot in life is what HE made of it. Obviously Luna didn't blind him with and that's going to be the end of that. It's tough love. I don't always agree with her judgment, but her intentions were good, unlike pretty much every choice Nigel made.

As someone who in his younger years was as much a douche as Nigel I can safely say that hes spent too much time enjoying eff around city and I hope his time in find out country gives him the wakeup call he needs.Heck if he wasnt living near the goddess of Life hedve probably been executed maimed or locked in a cell for at least 5 years by now (Non modern society n all).

it is not about Nigel. he is stealing, he sneaked in places he has no right to enter, so he is in prison for a reason.
but a goddess, an immortal entity, using her magic to blind someone, who is unarmed and has nothing to defend himself against magic, does not deserve any kind of sympathy.
she was cool at the start of the comic, but misusing her magic is nothing what, at least in my opinion, can be tolerated. And i hope her damage will be undone when she is gone.

Shes basically working from a feys perspective.She knows a lot about more mortal races and completely cares about them but she doesnt entirely understand them,how they think and is running on a morality that is more alien as she knows and sees things we cant even understand.

What shes doing now is what she knows will get the result shes hoping for (Nigel getting over whats essentially been making him fester and rot as a person for years now so he can heal and become a better person) and shes aware its a harsh way of doing it but quite frankly shes running out of time to help him and since hes showing no sign of healing on his own shes making this move while she still can as theres a very good chance that she and possibly everyone else wont exist to help him later.

In fact its entirely possible that what shes doing now is one last diceroll attempt of saving the people shes spent her entire existance caring for as she probably wont survive the apocalypse to come and is fine with that as long as everyone else gets a chance to survive.

Plus I’m quite confident that she plans to restore his sight once he fully processes his feelings, like in game of thrones when aria stark broke the rules of the faceless men and was blinded for it but her sight was restored when she made up for it. If she can take it away with little more than a thought I see no reason why she cannot give it back just as easily.

After all these hateful comments against one character and the other, I wanted to say something I suppose. Looking at all of this, people make bad decisions in life. I feel bad for all the characters here so far. Nigel for the bad hand he was given, Luna for the suffering she feels, Chili and the other girl for their spoiled nature causing them to not see what's ahead all to well, and the others too. Not one person is ever gonna be perfect, and we are getting to see each of them in their lives, growing up, and facing reality. This is how growth occurs. This is how people change, learn, and become more memorable. I like what is going on, and personally, I am hopeful that Nigel eventually learns better. I believe in all of them, and I am excited for how this story keeps going. Viktria really knows how to make an awesome story and give emotions in every character!
