Oridian over on SoFurry (https://oridian.sofurry.com/) has some excellent stories about dragons in my opinion. At the very least I was very endeared by a bunch of his characters, including this one; Jarzyl!

Jarzyl Mintaka is a young, energetic dragoness that just brings forth a smile on your face. There are plenty of stories about her and her closest friends, a slice-of-life series known as "The Life and Times of Jarzyl Mintaka". Now me being a hobby artist that loves to draw dragons, I got in contact with Oridian and asked if I could draw some of his characters. He approved of it, and I went to work. None of his dragons have any artwork to them, so this portrait was a test to visualise her design in a fairly accurate way to her story description. There are some experimental details here I didn't use on the next picture I drew of her, but it's a start!

Expect a few more things to come from Oridian's world and characters in the future!
