Atop the tallest mountain in Bird County, in a place lost to time- A legend of two birds is told:
Through the expanse of nothing they floated, injured. Driscoll and Susie became more and more distant as they swam through the void.
Driscoll smiled at Susie as the two drifted apart, pointing his hand at her.
Susie told him she would never leave him, that they would be together forever.
Driscoll nodded, giving her the powers he had managed to steal from the gods.
Susie desperately swam against the current, screaming that she needed him.
"Don't fight the river, Susie." Driscoll responded. "Let it move you. Drift."
