"Yeeaaah! You can do it, Sharon! I believe in you!"
"Uh... r-r-right..."

It was normally so easy for Sharon to be fierce and tough - even as a young adult, she could tell off bandits with minimal trouble and hiss threats at any suspicious travelers that cross her path without fear, but she suddenly shrunk when she stepped into that training arena.First SFW commission of the year! Been really wanting to get back into commissioning artists after that lengthy hiatus I took near the end of last year, and when Katnay opened up for business once more, I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to see him draw; the last time I commissioned this artist, Melee was in the foreground while Sharon was in the back, so I thought it would be neat to see the opposite this time. And it didn't take long for me to figure out an idea that he could work with.
The dragon duo once more find themselves wandering past the city of Amberchor. Not the first time either character has been here before... but what's this? Melee's not the one entering the ring to train once more? Nay, Sharon's gonna be the one showing her skills this time! While Melee fails to convince the guard captain to train his red friend, he does at least get him to agree to watch her shoot at some targets and offer some pointers before the day's fully over. Sharon's reluctant, but a bit of nudging from Melee was at least enough to convince her to give it a shot, where she finds she is not comfortable with being the star of the show, so to speak. May - in a rare display of bravado - is doing his best from outside, trying to encourage and root for his friend, but... I'm not sure it's really helping. Hopefully, Sharon will be able to tough things out and impress the captain... or at the very least, sneak away with one of their good quality arrows once this is all done.
Fun fact: This picture wasn't originally meant to be a sunset scene, but an early take on the idea by the artist prompted me to ask him to make it into one and I honestly feel it was the right choice. Certainly helps establish a "mood" of sorts, doesn't it? And the warm colors contrast well with the cooler greens seen in the last picture I commissioned from Katnay. Wonder if I can make a series out of that...? Hmm, it's worth thinking about.

Man, it's nice to see a new scene with these two again. I especially love how their expressions came out here, and Melee's pose looks really good. I'm glad I got to commission this artist once more.
