If any of you wondered why regular commissions are more expensive than "sketch" commissions (those that are not sketches anymore but kept the name because i'm used to it), here is a good example of why! That is also why they take longer to complete :)

I really liked the creation phase of this particular piece and, for once, i decided to share it here! It's pretty rare for now, and may become more common in the future as it's something i'd like to do when opening a little patreon thing (mostly to show sketch/wips and stuff, no exclusive patreon 'full' pieces are to be expected) yet, i wanted for quite a while to be able to show people an example of the pre-commission work on regular illustrations! (and that's the visual part, minus conversations/text exchanges)

For this piece, Steppenfire decided to keep not one, but two of the "stamps" i pre-sketched. That is, indeed always possible to do and i'm usually really pleased when this happen because well, i usually only give out sketches i like ;)

Please note that, actually, regular illustrations are closed for newcomers, and only accepted sporadically for returning commissioners. If you have an idea for a regular comm and you are a returning commissioner, you can always contact me with your idea and we'll see together. Tho, keep in mind i can refuse ideas if that seems too much for me or if that can't fit in my schedule, also keep in mind regular commissions price is not the same as sketch comms (usually you can count around x3 compared to sketch comm prices), and that their delay will be longer too. Yet, if you really wish a slot, we can still see together!
