Bedford95's background, I have managed to put together a rough outline of a concept I've been toying with for years. Kanga's an extremely long-lived giant who dwells in a remote realm where she wants for nothing, except company.
One day she finds large beanstalk popping up through the mist and fog at the edge of her garden, which doesn't surprise her quite as much as the sight of three miniscule figures clambering up it. A delightful surprise as she eagerly reaches for them, hoping they'll stay a while.
