Anyway, this is another one of the OC-Spawns of me and Zs o3o And he's an absolute pessimist XD It's still yet to be determined if this is because he was born blind, or he was just born that way period XD But anyway, BIO TIME!!!

Overall Personality: A natural pessimist and asshole. Davyd's a brutally honest and smart mouthed kid. He hates it when people try to sympathize with him for being blind. He rather not be bothered by anyone, and will easily get under someone's skin when they do. He rarely ever smiles also. People who's known him for a long time get used to his attitude, yet it does more than give them the occasional headache. But despite his gruff exterior lies a kind and caring soul. Few have ever saw that side of him, and only a certain feline can bring out the best in him, who is coincidentally the only person he's ever really nice to.
Place of Residence: He lives with his parents in a house hidden from prying eyes.
Likes: Holly, his parents, meditating, and rainy days.
Dislikes: I rather not waste your time explaining them all ^^;
Quirks: Again, he's an asshole and a pessimist. Nuff said.

Abilities: With the lack of his sight, Davyd's other four senses are heightened to exponential levels, making him more aware (and ironically better off) than if he was able to see. Davyd inherited a Sheolian ability from his mother called the Mind Gift, which grants him the ability to hear thoughts, see through other people's point of view (though he has to concentrate to do so, and it only works on people he's familiar with), and even peer into other's mind as well. He can heal minor injuries and lost limbs fairly quickly, but more severe injuries take time, and it can be affected by his state of mind (if he's in a lot of emotional distress, the wounds won't heal until he can calm his mind).Also, he's a skilled fighter (he knows Karate :dummy:) able to hold his own in a fight.

To make his fighting skills even more deadly, he uses a technique called Royal Guard. It has the ability to block ANYTHING, but is extremely hard to lear, and even more dangerous to use. What happens is he uses a bit of energy to block an attack at the exact moment it hits him, then can either store the energy up to make his a, or immediately force the energy back onto a target externally or internally. But due to being blind, guarding energy projectile attacks are a bit of a leap of faith for him. Of he fails to either guard in time, or he doesn't use enough energy to block stronger attacks, his guard shatters and the energy can backfire on him severely.

Also, he can change into a more powerful form, but it's rarely, if ever, seen. (Will be drawn when it's fully developed.)

Weaknesses: Davyd is strictly a close-to-mid range fighter. Long range is next to impossible for him, as he refuses to fight with weapons (it's a pride thing.) Extra-loud noises give him migranes, and his Mind Gift is heavily connected to his sense of hearing. Finally, there's a pinprick area on his heart where if hit, could kill him instantly. He'd come back, but it'd take quite a while.

Brief Bio
Davyd Redgrave was born blind from the get go. Despite that minor hinderance though, he was able to live a relatively normal childhood. He had loving parents, an older 'brother' who looked out for him, and a hydra and a hellhorse to keep him laughing. He grew up with people trying to help him, almost treating him as if he were a helpless pup due to being blind, and the students at school didn't help at all, save for the select few who got used to him easily. This made him pretty much resent people who did such, and his already slightly sour personality evolved into that of a pessimist and an asshole. Determined to set himself further away from being helpless by taking up fighting from a vixen named Onyx, which was in itself borderline suicidal. (said vixen was easily the best fighter living, and a very brutal trainer.) It's no wonder he's the coyote we know and...well, we know today.
