Note: While the NC comes down harshly on this movie, he is upfront about the reasons why it's not very good, and makes it clear that he's talking about the official release, and that the Re-Cobbled Edition is much better and something anyone who's into animation should check out.

while I think the movie suffers a few flaws in terms of flow and story, the animation is absolutely fucking GORGEOUS and the designs of the characters are amazing. Tack is too too tooooo cute, I couldn't get enough of him. Much cuter pale than tan, though.
