Fifty years ago, that is, in the year 2307 of the Chakat universe, a Federation spaceship with technical personnel, most of them skunktaurs, was captured by space pirates and taken to space dominated by the League of Non-Aligned Worlds.

There, in a factory laboratory, scientists did genetic experiments on the captured skunktaurs, artificially inseminating them with modified DNA. The goal was to produce litters of skunktaurs with superior talents and use them as future weapons, or dutiful soldiers, for the League.

Many of those pups were failed experiments and were thrown away. Others were left to their fate, while only a few managed to meet the objective. Among those few, is Faise skunktaur. This skunktaur was bred and trained to be a deadly agent behind enemy lines.

Because hys DNA was altered, Faise is able to use all three skunktaur talents. Telekinesis and telepathy at T5 level and astral display at T2 level. Hys most effective weapon, however, is hymnotic control of creatures that have a neural network similar to hym's, namely chakats and chakats-kin. Hy can control the mind of taurs at will, manipulate their memory, alter their state of consciousness, and induce behavior in their victims that the person would not normally do. It is unknown if he can also manipulate the mind of other species.

Now Faise is in Chakona, fulfilling a mission. Although so far, not everything has turned out as hy has wanted.
