The pacific northwest is classified as a genuine rain forest. It is coniferous rather than jungle, but the amount of rain it receives creates these incredible morning mists and causes anything that doesn't move to grow a dense, green coat of moss. And the banana slugs there are awesome! 6 inches long and bright yellow.
