Here's my second Regional Variant picture of today! It's a Fire type Regional Forme of the Sludge Pokémon from Gen 1 -- Grimer!

-- I was watching a video about alternate Pokémon forms by Emperor Cubone on YouTube, and the first concept he showed off involved Koffing of all monsters sporting the pure Fire typing. Then he went on to suggest that it might also work on Grimer, but then shifted back to Koffing. However, due to this brief mentioning of Grimer, in the context of the Fire typing, I came up with an idea myself, and went to design my own concept art of what a Fire type Regional Variant Grimer could look like. It's not the most imaginative concept, for sure, but it is still a fun one to play around with! If I remember correctly, Koffing -- and Wheezing by extention -- appeared at Fiery Path in the Hoenn region, and I believe Grimer could also be found there. I'm not sure though. But if Fiery Path is the only location in Hoenn where Koffing can be found, then I think we could give it a try with Grimer as well. This, along with the inspiration from Emperor Cubone's video, resulted in me trying a Fire type Regional Variant of Grimer. I can only imagine what a fire-based Muk could look like! 🔥
