MKDS-style Karts for Lay and Cloud
Here they are, Cloud! Thank you for waiting! I've created two original concept race karts inspired by Mario Kart DS, which... isn't my favorite game, a bit overrated one IMO, but I do think it's fun to play once in a while.
These are the two kart concepts I came up with (and Gabo, if you're reading this -- don't worry, I'll create a fancy kart for you as well, with its very own stat distribution).
🐺 My signature kart is the conveniently-named ''White Howler'', referencing my in-universe species -- Arctic Wolf. Its best stat is speed, referencing the fact that wolves are very good hunters and therefore have to be able to run quite fast.
🌩️ Cloud's signature kart is one actually inspired by a more modern Mario Kart game -- Mario Kart 7 for the 3DS. It is inspired by the kart body part ''Cloud Nine'', which is unlockable in Mario Kart 7. However, I wanted to give it a bit more spice, so I added a thundercloud theme to the design to make it more intimidating. The Thundercloud's best stat would, surprisingly, be its weight, being able to push other karts around more easily; with the drift stat not far behind. It is not as fast as my kart, but it is way more effective at bumping opponents off the track, especially on harder tracks like Bowser's Castle and Rainbow Road.
As for the whole ''intimidating'' thing I just mentioned -- My own kart doesn't ~have~ to be intimidating really, because the design I gave ~my~ kart perfectly reflects my bubbly personality of the Arctic Wolf pup I portray myself as in my picture uploads on FurAffinity. The white tail on the back is simply to give the kart a bit more of its own style, just like the lightning bolts do on the kart I designed for Cloud.

I will probably also do a kart concept for Gabo, as he's been known to wanting to be included in people's pictures. It's not a complaint I personally have, since wanting to be part of other people's presence is a very natural thing for any animal or person.
I think you refer to DS then. A couple years ago everyone was super nostalgic and optimistic about DS, but I continue to see more and more videos in which people critisize the game for the butchering of and bad selection of Retro Tracks, like removing shortcuts on GCN Mushroom Bridge or GCN Yoshi Circuit, and three of the tracks in the Shell Cup -- which was the first Retro cup ever for many players -- being the introduction track from their respective game (SNES Mario Circuit 1 from Super Mario Kart, GBA Peach Circuit from Mario Kart Advance, etc.). And I don't wanna be negative here, but I have always had something against MKDS as a whole. The Mission thing for example, really isn't something special in the grand scheme of things, and the Emblem Creator is kinda ''eh?'' because the emblem you create is either too tiny to actually see during a race, or it's plastered on the front of the kart, which... you aren't looking at during any race obviously. This is something Nathaniel Bandy pointed out in his ''How Mario Kart DS Triggers You!'' video.
I agree with you on practically everything. At that time, I couldn't choose my games or the platforms on which I could play because of my parents.
If I remember well, in MKDS I used the emblem creation tool to draw the Pokémon Thundurus. I considered it pretty well draw at that time ;)
