"Or, just burn the shit-shack to the ground and build/purchase a new one."
I don't even know you but I love you for saying this.
As for my opinion on it... I have to agree.
Fixing it and making it safe/presentable would probably be costly... and time consuming. To the point of just wanting to scream, kick it and buy a new one anyways. :x

Well, most of the inner structure still looks good and can be re-used. The siding is aluminum, and just needs to be cleaned off. The shingles are pretty much shit. Those can be replaced.
The big thing is that It just needs to be up off the ground which is why the floor and bottom supports are rotting. Flip it over, and pull the floor off. Analyze the condition it is in. If it does not have too much rot, nail a new floor down. I'd recommend using pressure-treated wood if you can afford it. It's more resiliant. Make sure to coat it with a waterproof sealant/stain as well. Then make sure it is on a cinder block foundation. Maybe 2 or 3 blocks high. Make sure it is anchored down as well. In case of hurricanes or tornadoes or anything with high winds.
It may be just a dog house, but it's your dog's house. If they are in it all the time, I'm sure they'd like a nice place to live. Right?

Screw the dog, I wanna live in there! That's nicer than my house!
