I must say, I can see the appeal of being all coiled up by a snake. With ropes, chains, straps there is always a small possibility of getting loose. But when you are all wrapped up by a snake, your captor is literally always with you. 0 chance of escaping. So you can just let loose and let the snake do the rest. That's why my yellow pone never goes near snakes, except for offering massages for their tense coils.
