Faise, despite the severe injuries to hys body, hy still had enough mental strength to manipulate matter. Hy raised hys hand and knocked Regthar several meters away from them with a telekinetic swipe. Immediately afterwards, hy raised the saber and threw it straight into Esteban's heart.

“Grrr! Noo!"

Rroared the helpless Renzar. However, to everyone's surprise, the saber stopped in midair before touching the boy's body. Faise tried to stab him with more force, but Esteban, raising his hand, repelled hys telekinesis, keeping the weapon still in the air, between the two of them. After a few tense seconds, Faise felt Esteban match hys strength, driving the saber away from him. The skunktaur noticed that a small paw-shaped spot slowly became visible on the human's right breast as he pushed harder against hym. In a moment, exhaustion and wounds broke hys resistance, and the saber landed next to hym, in the rubble. Desperate, the skunktaur exclaimed breathlessly.

"Take that saber and do it! Kill me at once!"

But Esteban, still with his arm outstretched, began to approach hym as he said.

“You have made many mistakes, Faise. And you will pay for them, as we all do. But it will not be me who judges that, but the universe, through you"

Esteban continued to reach out his hand until he touched Faise's forehead. Hy closed hys eyes, thinking that the human would kill hym. But instead of that, hy entered a soft sleep, disconnecting hymself from everything that was happening around hym.
