This simple story is about how two characters, who are a couple in some of my other stories, began dating. Farida is a rabbit who has “a thing” for cats; however, she has had trouble finding cats who reciprocate her romantic interests. Katya is the first cat she’s met who seems interested in her too, so Farida is anxious about making a good impression on their date. The story delves a little into the significance of the characters being predator and prey, but the first part is mostly about Farida dealing with her anxiety and shock at meeting a cat who is truly attracted to her. The second part gives some of Katya’s perspective and reveals her desire to be Farida’s submissive.

Farida is an imperfect character who comes off as a bit perverted and cat-obsessed, which she struggles to restrain in the first part of this story because she believes it will scare off her date. Katya has dealt with a lot of trauma and disillusionment, leading her to quit her career as a police officer and seek a new path in life. This story is about these characters finding the love, acceptance, and passion they both desire.
