Here is Salvador Lane, the Gold Ranger in Freedom Squadron: Liberanger. I had mentioned before that Suki Lane from Sing 2 is his aunt, which is the case, but he looks like a border collie and not a saluki. The simple explanation for that is that his mother is a border collie and he takes on his mother's looks. Perhaps his mother's family runs a farm.

Salvador has been a fan of video games and often wished he could be in a game himself. When he becomes Libre Gold and pilots his Libre Jet, it feels like his dream of being in a video game had come true.

Notes:
1. He is based upon Balance/Tenbhin Gold from Uchu Sentai: Kyuranger (AKA the TRUE Cosmic Fury Gold Ranger).
2. The main influence of his finalized design is that of Winnona, Applejack's dog in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Although he initially was going to have brown fur instead of black. I decided he looked better with black fur.
3. He is the first mainstream Gold Ranger to be part of the core team as opposed to being the Sixth Ranger like most Gold Rangers had been.
4. His the first mainstream SAS Ranger to have a family member appear in the Sing franchise.
5. His clothes are based upon Kenta Date's clothes from Denji Sentai: Megaranger.
