Due to Forestclan beliefs, if a lynx attacks a cat, the cat is deemed unworthy by Starclan and should be left for dead... or actively killed, according to the last two leaders. So Shine was murdered for a belief his clan did not hold, and by a former friend (Snakerock) no less. Is waiting to rip Eagle's soul to shreds in Starclan, both for killing him so brutally and leaving his corpse out for Hornet to find and be traumatized by.
