This is so frickin good its hard to understate just how much I love this image but more importantly ALL THE LORE STUFF. I love it when art comes with more then the image but all this info. Like these pictures all being in pov of a team of explorers as they wander this strange land. Like, it raises the question of why would all these cultures involve getting ROUND? Are there actual boons for the tribes and people in doing these practices and if so why? Are there other means to power? Should they just laugh if a round as all heck treecko bandit comes by demanding their money or should they take it more as a serious threat? if these customs can bring rain could there be other means to bring personal power? Girth granting power, an amplification of a mons innate abilities, a true danger... or a rolling laughing stock who cant get back on there feet. Its hard to tell yet for these lands....
