Chapter Summary:
After a sleepless night, Reti heads to the pool to meet up with Pop and Risal. It isn't long before exhaustion catches up with her, though.

Story Synopsis:
Reti Calex is a college freshman living in Turtle Canyon, a small desert town in the middle of nowhere. All she wants to do is get through each day and spend some time with her few friends, but schizophrenia looms over her life and clouds her head. At school, she tries to hide her disorder from her new classmates to avoid ostracization. However, when she falls in love and refuses to tell her crush about the things that haunt her, her life and sanity begin to unravel...

WOW haha this took me over a year OOPSIES. i got megaaaa writer's block in the middle of the section where Pop and Risal are meeting each other, cuz I didn't know where to take it. I've got some new ideas on how to go forward with the story, though, so we'll have to see if it takes me another whole year to get next chapter done. but to celebrate the return, i made a fancy new professional looking cover! the old one was tiny and it was never really meant to be permanent. and i didn't want to draw a whole thing, so I went the Rails route and used an image as the base for the cover. did some light editing and framing to it as well. although it got scrunched up way more than I expected... also tagging these things is always harrrd.
