All of her life, Wendy had a fascination with the occult, although it wasn't because she believed in it, more so she was fascinated with how others could, looking into it's history and origins, so when she travelled to a place deep within a jungle, she had expected to come out more knowledgeable, but everything changed for her when she discovered that some of those occult stories were true, entering a forbidden temple to a ancient vamperic god, she was infused with it's power, changing from a normal fruit bat to a vampire, naturally, Wendy hated being a monster, so she immediately began looking for a cure, searching far and wide, but as she had only studied the history of the occult, not the actual subject, she failed to realize that casting a dark spell would only make things much worse, becoming a true demonic like creature, draining the blood and life force of her victims
had she not met Zero and Serphina, she may of stayed that way, now days she has more control over her urges as a vampire and only changes to her demon form in times of need or stress
