Nothing anoints a sorcerer's rite of passage like receiving their own set of robes. Each one is custom-tailored and fitted with the best and latest in psionic tech, while looking good doing so. Ozark wasn't expecting much, other than something that worked with his martial arts style and that would fit his masculine and feminine forms. Color him surprised, then, once he actually received those robes and tried them on for the first time. It almost makes the ten years of academy classes, and over fifteen million credits' worth of labor and material grants, worth his while.

Sorcerers are few and far between in the Omnai, especially so within the Terran Empire, where only a few dozen become certified per year. Because of this, the Empire's Ministry of Education does allow for financial aid to sorcerers-to-be who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford the prohibitive price tag. Ozark was fortunate enough to get a handful of not-pictured (yet) extras out of his own pocket, thanks in part to the success of his business venture in a freighter-turned-factory ship.
