Hi everyone, how's it going? This is a real treat right here~
This is a reference art work of a particular character of mine named "T'erissk", a naga species referred to as "Sandarii" in my extra-dimensional world I created.
The art work was created by

Here's a little lore:
Sandarii are a species of serpent descended from Titanoboa, due to the RingWorld of "Sauria" being filled with Mesozoic flora and fauna, as well as Meso-esque subjects. However, rather than stay "pure" in physical shape, these snakes branched away and coincidentally ended up mimicking terran serpents, albeit as per evolving to suit their own needs and survived "better", these beings developed arm-appendages, and vaguely anthropomorphic "upper bodies", but retained a snake-half instead of legs. They did however, retain their ancestor's length and then some, adult Sandarii reaching 40-60 feet (12.192 to 18.288 meters) of length, making them fairly large. They also only have three fingers -a thumb, an index esque finger, and a ring-pinkie hybrid; all the creatures on my world that have "hands", only have those three types of fingers.
Speaking of mimicry, the Sandarii developed into different variety of appearances:
-"Titanocobra", which are Titanoboas that have King Cobra hoods that are able to retract and extend, however they tend to be extended most of the time, despite no hostile intent.
-"Titanomamba, mostly meaning they are dark or muted colorations.
-"Titanoconda", resembling Anaconda, and tend to get fairly lengthy compared to most of the other variations, excellent at camouflaging in forest and the like.
Those are the only variations "recorded" for now, since Sauria is quite a massive world.
Sandarii will sometimes have visible teeth which appear to be sharp, but do not fear, they are only really for gripping live prey, so they can swallow more easily, and emoting like a grin or smile; they cannot break scales or skin. Nor are they venomous...I'm just not into injecting poison into people, rubs me the wrong way, even if it isn't lethal. Said serpents prefer to eat live meals, but they do not digest. Instead, they will sap/drain energy from their prey, emitting a sense of soothing pleasure to their victim(s), while consistently keeping their meal(s) in an exhausted state, and alive. Worry not about suffocation, they too have oxygen emitting enzymes and bacteria within their body, just like my Sauris'tok (Dinosaurs).
Eventually if permitted, the Sandarii more or less "melt" their prey into the flesh of their stomach, absorbing them and storing them away on/deep within their form, getting proteins, said energy and etc from the meal. Nothing fatal happens, said victim more or less becomes "sentient fat/muscle", and retains their sense of touch and hearing, but cannot see anything around them. They instead are transferred to "pocket space" because yes, just like the Sauris'tok are capable of.
T'erissk in particular is a Titanoconda and typically 49 feet long, but can grow longer if he absorbs enough energy and protein from what he eats. He does not become super duper buff or burly from excessive protein, instead his coils just get girthy/thicker and he may even get longer. If properly translated, Sandarii will have certain "accents"; it will vary from Arabic, Indian (India), and African. T'erissk himself has an Indian accent that is soft and friendly, despite his decently buff-muscled upper body and intimating size may let on. Also yes, the Sandarii can hypnotize their prey, BUT it is not the typical run of the mill hypnosis. Instead, Sandarii naturally have form of "psionics" combined with their charisma, that is blends with their voice; this is a reference to Gene from Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops. It does not harm prey or other individuals, however it can be used to calm someone down, make them more "open" to suggestion an relax; this coincidentally makes it easier for them to coil around and or devour prey, since a relaxed meal typically won't fuss or escape. The more a victim/prey gives into the pleasurable experience, the less and less they will want to escape or fight, thus sink "deeper" into the snake. This can make them terrifying predators, because once a Sandarii "has you", the target is doomed. None to worry, Sandarii are capable of releasing those they have absorbed if they wish, it isn't a terrible experience being sentient snake heft. Just like the Sauris'tok, they do not have any genitals or sexual dimorphism organs; they are vaguely male yet androgynous.
T'erissk's Likes: Exploring/hiking, spicy food, soothing instrumental music, a good book, resting, swimming, giving others therapy, movies and fun conversation.
T'erissk's Dislikes: Rowdy people, explosions, rude people, obnoxious music, curse words, cold weather, overly hot weather.
Thank you so much for this
todviorns, you rock! I also appreciate
pythonyuanty for being very helpful, kind and translating between us both, and I appreciate
slayersarge for helping set me up with meeting you both. The details and coloring are astounding, it was a pleasure working with you both, and I appreciate all three of you ^_^
