And the final piece I got done in a month is here, attack 13. (I wanted 14 but I ran out of time, maybe next year)
So I had a couple of plans for this piece, at first I wanted it to be a full body but I kinda got lost in the design and had planned a furry character to begin with. But then I realised the scope of said picture was a little too big for what time I had so I switched characters and focused on something that in theory shouldn't be that much harder....
No guns are fucking hard to get right with perspective, foreshortening and all that. Holy fuck This one was by far, the hardest to get done, No fur meant clean, smooth lines, But it also meant that I had to figure out how a face works on a human... (THankfully I had been doing life drawings for the past few weeks so I didn't have that much trouble) But when you try to express something with eyes doing 2 different things?! T'was a struggle. This came down to the last 19 hours of the artfight, I stayed up till like 3 in the morning to get it done because the next day was gonna be a busy one.
That said I did finish it and I'm pretty proud of how it came out. Splatoon is a game I've only recently started playing and my friend https://www.deviantart.com/susivoi is fucking crazy with pretty much any weapon you give them. So my love for snipers kinda kicked in and this came to fruition.
