My freestyle graphics entry for Assembly Summer 2023 (9th place which is the second last). This was made in 7h because originally I wasn't going to attend (life mayhem stuff) but then around noon of Thursday I decided that missing out seeing so many friends would feel too bad, but I can't attend without drawing something. I'm glad I decided to go!

Funny enough,

Very beautiful drawing. Aside from the fox lady looking very appealing, the linework is pretty outstanding to me with a big variety of thickness and pointy pieces. I would like to know, how you actually draw this. I believe it would be pretty tricky with a tablet, requiring loads of extra strokes. However you do it though, looking awesome.
It's not any more tricky with a tablet than a real ink brush, each tool requires practice to use.
I use a digital ink brush (defaults in krita) with a high range of thin-thickness controlled by pressure sensitivity (tweaked more user friendly for my arm thanks to extra controls that linux provides for controlling the pressure curve). Sometimes I also use shape fill brush (present in krita and alchemy), especially to carve larger areas, it creates a shape by drawing the edges of it. Even though those two brushes are completely different from each other, the results turns out the same, it's just a per day / moment preference, doing something differently keeps the mind entertained since inking is a pretty technical and long process.
Even without pressure sensitivity one could achieve this same effect by thickening a line by multiple strokes and then erasing the edge to make the shape clean - that would just take a bit longer (but it's something I've done during lack of tools).
