Hi peeps. I usually start this content on my Twitter. But as I know there's a bunch of people here who doesn't use that social media, I thought it was a good idea to drop it here as well.

I won't say Patreon is like the best site ever and I understand we are flooded with all kind of work now that is available on that site.
But there are content creators who try to make it as less painful as possible and still think in their followers. For me I understand we could like to have our own art the way we want it but sometimes there are people who also want just to contribute and see more art in general for a topic we like. Sadly without sites like patreon or similar options, there is no other way to do it. Especially with country barriers

The reason I'm using Patreon as a platform to generate money from my work its mainly because -as any other person- I have needs, like paying bills and buying food. And among them I have to pay for the services that let me keep creating the content I do, like internet, electricity and my computer maintenance.
It's not because I'm some kind of evil entity that enjoys putting a paywall on my work so less people can see it, because as an artist, that's something we don't like. Cause our main goal is to be as known as possible. The thing is, that living from the commissions is not easy for artist who are still growing, me included.
That's why we decide to use platforms like Patreon Boosty among others. Cause somehow it's a way to form a community and offer more services than just a pay-and-get drawing.
And I have to say, that instead of being complaining about a "Stupid site" here, you should be greatful with the people who is supporting me on my Patreon. Cause it's because of them that I'm able to keep creating content and growing as artist.
And just to let you know, in July -Past month- from 10 posts, just 2 are Patreon exclusives. 80% is open. From this 2023, from 61 original posts and alt versions I've publicated in my social media, 14 are Patreon only.
73 % of my 2023 content is completely free.
I'm still trying to look for more ways to try to make my artist career more profitable without needing to restrict the amount of content I publish. But I have to say that if you don't like what I'm doing, I'll politely ask you to unwatch me and stop complaining on posts that I share to listen to my followers and fans.

My only issue isn’t that there is Patreon exclusive work but the teasers. It would be best to just put a public post saying you have new work there instead of showing a teaser and saying to come to Patreon to see the rest. It’s a bait tactic that pisses a lot of people off. Many would stop complaining if artist would just announce that work is on Patreon instead of throwing out a teaser to bait others in becoming a supporter to see the whole thing.
I forgot come back here to comment to try to say something about this that you can maybe try to do more, I hope I’m not too late to try to say all this if you can do but here goes.
Do you think you can do more plantigrade or say try to di more humanoid,human like or human shape like feet? Like these for example
