In all honesty I actually have more fun writing scenes with the Raeshael than the other races. Simply because it's the notion that though the three factions represent one government body, it's far more accurate to say it's three separate governments that hate each other forced to share the same space. It's effectively like saying 1970's NATO, USSR and China all had to represent earth on a galactic stage.
