Speedpainting: Beyond Life and Death
(Small OCD edit, F5 if you wanna see a slightly bigger size as well)
Commission for
of herself and her mate
. :D
Time taken was anywhere between 4.5 and 5.5 hours. I didn't keep track of time as much as I should have, but I think it turned out well regardless. XD
Thanks for everyone who came into the LS and kept me company! :D

I haven't seen it yet.
It counts, but one challenge would be to cast as much emotion and character with... like... 10 or so characters (so to speak)
I haven't seen something like that before.
As an example, like in Hayao Miyazaki films, ALL of the characters, even the minor ones are always moving in the background, which makes everything 10x more lively and filled with life with the rich colours.
Basically something like that, if that helps :3
But i would like to see that image.

Yeah, it's currently on hiatus.... so I'm not surprised you haven't seen it yet. XD (it was a joke, haha~)
Oooh... that actually sounds like a great idea... I've wanted to do something like that for awhile, but due to time constraints I haven't really had the opportunity. :D I'd definitely like to try it! I really like it when there's more than just the "main" characters in the image... extra characters give a good sense of energy and motion to the background, just like you said. XD

HOLY MOLLY... I'm in awe... this is SOOOOOOOO amazing... I'll stare at it for a day or 2 when I stop drooling and jawdropping staring at it I will come back with more consistent comenting ... there is no words to say how amazing this is and how much I love it, you totally made my day (make that month)
Brilliant colors and painting techniques used for the background in contrast with the lineart for these two characters. I'd say it looks out of place, but the way you paint just makes the lineart work for the picture. Also, I love your moon and how simple it is. I sincerely think the moon should always look like that.
Beautiful work once again~

Thank you very much! Now that I look at it, they are pretty different in terms of styling... but I'm glad you think they're working well together. C:
Haha... I just wish the moon was bigger. ;D It's too hard to see or photograph most nights without a really nice lense.
