8/12/23: Hot Night Sleepies... (Cory 1-tone com: indigo)
Cory: Ahh! How hot is it?! I have to take everything off to sleep and keep cool! Yep, I will go as far as taking off that blanket to have just the sheet on me so I can sleep comfortably! *I yawn.* Does anyone... *I try to stay awake.* have a -ugh-- fan? Zzzz...
Fun commission by the artist whose fursona is Miles the bear. As it would be for such summer nights that would be uncomfortable, any canine would have to pant to get cool, but truly, as a furry, we'd have that luxury as canines to also have sweat to cool us off... Do take advantage in the northern hemisphere to have less clothes on and have the fan on while having just a sheet or none at all-the season can be brutal for you especially now, the planet's average temperature went up some degrees...
I did like a one-tone commission for a change to make the occasion fit. Being a cool or night color, indigo (somewhat dark blue) fits well for a sleepy scene. I can understand that blue would make sleeping difficult, but only if it is a night light according to a study- red is the best. However if it is something to relax you, the cool colors would be best for you. Cory here would have been exposed to such a light to relax on a hot night, but it worked TOO well, and went to sleep... Looks like an ugly sleep, huh?
The artist almost made the art exactly like I wanted him to do it, and he did go above and beyond to make him look exhausted, but a little bit sexy too-even adding a somewhat drooly maw! Indigo is SO underrated! What you will see in a rainbow outside after rain is hardly shown in arts! I'm glad the artist used it here as requested as one tone, and he blended it well with the existing usual colors of Cory-his maw, inside of ears, hair and nose are the most recognizable in colors that would go with the one tone. I will give him a 5.9/6 for this art-A grade! You should try him for such arts, I like him, and though busy, he takes his arting seriously and promises to get things done. Commission him!
