There's something special about that space just below the canopy. Sure the broken blanket of trees might block most of the glorious sky blue, but nature has a certain charm for this realm where the birds dart from branch to branch, swooping with amazing acrobatics high above the forest floor. That alone gives this spot a unique beauty to observe with delight, but the golden rays piercing that thick, green blanket makes it truly magical. A spot two cats decided to visit on this nice day. One would think Dex would be an expert in handling birds as often as they hang around him, but as he'd tell you, never pass up a chance to learn from others. Happily taking note of some techniques Jagz is showing to keep visiting birds comforted. Let alone to share an experience like this. Looks like Dex forgot some seeds again, better remind himself next time. It's the least he could do to show thanks to the forest residents for allowing them to visit their serene home.

As a lion naturally Dex can be a little stubborn with certain things but not when it comes to treating certain elements of nature, requires a delicate touch and any possible way to learn new Dex is open :3 I swear im not trying to get birbs to do my bidding ^^;;
Funnily enough I do protect them from cats at home irl xD cat got sneaky and snatched one off the feeder one day and I was like HELLLLL NOOOO, never again. Ever since id keep my eyes out and run off any cats trying to get into my backyard. I love cats but snatching birds is a no no @_@
You literally are hanging out in the best place to take in the world and its beauty Dex. Always taking us on a magical and thought-provoking adventure. You both look so content and happy there, I know a Lynx who would be very happy to climb up there and join you too. πβββββπ
