Patient confidentiality is suppose to be quite tough where I'm from. Only registered emergency contacts are allowed to be given medical details. If you're not on the book nor invited, you have to shut up and beat it. At least Doc did gave all the vital need-to-know instructions and information

Unlike some shady back alley medics, Doc actually does have formal training and still has a few legitimate contacts.

He's just trying to escape...well, we'll get to that ;)

The comic's title applies in some way to all the characters in the main cast (the ones appearing in the anniversary images, tho a couple still haven't fully appeared and are thus greyed out on those). Some for things that happened before the comic's start, some that happen as the comic's story is told.

Doc's backstory is one of the longer ones that will be told in bits and pieces over the course of the comic.

Doc is busy trying to figure out who attacked his office, which I think is the still living member of the body snatchers looking for the body.

I'm just gonna note there's a still unidentified figure back on page 187...
