FANART - Flight of Mischief
OKAY one more human (kinda???? human hybrid, lmao) piece too outside of the last artfight attack before i probably resume posting furry art (esp since im almost done with a pwyw comm that is furry).....
it was grian's birthday earlier in the month, and as someone who loves watching hermitcraft and playing minecraft and gets a lot of joy and inspiration out of the hermit's videos, i wanted to draw something for grian's birthday as i tend to watch him a lot! (among mumbo, scar, doc, bdubs, etho, haha).
while it's not the most detailed of pieces and i went for simplistic as far as background goes, i still had fun doing this piece and drawing grian, something i'd like to do more of at some point! for the time being though, there's this. i'm rusty on drawing wings but i'm still kinda proud of how they turned out and the bird-esque/feathered features turned out.
even if minecraft/this sort of content from me isn't everyone's tastes, i had fun with it and it felt good to draw something that just made me happy to do!

THIS IS SO GOOD!!! I love the bird features and how you drew the colors!! I love that he's holding a block with his foot. PESKY BIRD!!! The flowers in his hair are lovely. (lilac and poppy from Third Life, buttercup from the recent shenanigans?) The lighting is reflecting off his hair in the best way!!!
thank you so much! i looove drawing grian with bird features - it’s a lot of fun! like, average guy grian designs are cool and fun too, but hybrid features have always been fun to draw for me and if i can incorporate them into a design/a character, i absolutely will haha.
i’m glad you liked the touch of holding a block with his foot! i thought it’d be a nice touch seeing as he’s a builder and always using and switching around blocks (plus in the context of the picture, works as a distraction from the block in his hands :b). i’m glad people have seemed to like that from other places i’ve shared!!
and yes, those are exactly the flowers and exactly the reasons!! i have brainrot for hermitcraft and the life series and i thought it’d be a cute small nod to both (and my love for both those “stories” so to speak lol)
