Ack! My grandma had one several years ago, and I severely mangled my hand in the sunroof latch. Those things give me the fear.
I totally know the feeling - two years ago, I finally got rid of my '89 Grand Am and bought an '04 Alero. It was the greatest feeling ever.

Heh, yeah you'll love the upgrade to a Fit then. I love my Civic, but I miss the baby I had before it - a 1989 Pontiac Trans am GTA. *sob* Not reliable, but was modded decently and was a very fun ride.
I'll give one thing for Hondas - for the cost and reliability, their handling is very nice as well.
