Character commission for the most exacting client I've had in a long time! I think more than half the total time was spent on revisions, painting and repainting and repainting again, getting details juuuuuuuuust the way he wanted (edit - I don't mean that as a complaint, it's more that it feels like a real accomplishment at this point haha XD)

Well...I AM one of those dragon clients but I have artist friends who accept a lot of different types of magical creatures and over all...what they tell me is that it's the dragon characters that have the pickiest clients. Funnily enough...the exception to the rule is when the character is super complex. Then the client tends to be more chill about how the character is interpreted.
I can't say there's a particular trend on my end. By far the most picky/critical is my husband lol - he doesn't have a fursona/particular OC at all. Next is probably this guy. Next is maybe a feral tiger with no particular markings or accessories whatsoever, really, or possibly a guy who gets a variety of his D&D characters done.

LOL! After you completed the commission, I bet you heard a little Xbox sound with "Achievement Unlocked: Dragged Through Hell" floating over your head XD
But hey, at least you powered through it. Others would have either canceled the commission outright or have thrown their tablet out the window XD
