"There!!!" Gyako yelled shooting a fireball. It raced into trees and exploded on the branches knocking the red cat and a bunch of branches down. She landed on her back and Gyako quickly pounced on her and pinned her down so she couldn't go anywhere.
The red cat shook her head trying to recover from the fall and re-establish her bearings only to see Gyako's quite annoyed face looming over her. Her expression quickly changed to a pathetic and scared look.
"H-he heh heh, looks like you caught meeeeee," she nervously said, "I guess you win."
"What was that all about?!" Gyako insisted, "Why all those fireballs?"
"I wanted to make this game of tag a bit more exciting, I wasn't trying to hurt you."
"You almost burnt off my fur!"
"Yeah, sorry about that."
"Nevermind, look, I caught you so give me back my fish," Gyako demanded.
"Awww, can we do another round first?" She asked with puppy dog eyes, "this time I chase you."
"The fish! Now!"
"Mmm your no fun," the red cat pouted as she pulled her tail forward to retrieve the fish from it. However, it wasn't there.
"I don't have it," she said.
"What do you mean?!"
"I think I dropped it when you shot me."
From a smoldering bush there is a faint smell of burnt fish.
"Dammit," Gyako said ears drooping down.
"I'm sorry for your loss," the red cat consoled, "but it was so small other cats wouldn't have bothered if I took it, why you?"
"Because it was the first fish I've in a long time," Gyako said, "probably since I went fishing with my dad so it kinda meant something I guess."
A sad look came over the red cat's face.
"Hey, why don't I help you catch another, a bigger one this time."
"Are you gonna make off with that one as well" Gyako asked.
"Hmmm I might," she smiled, "only if you're gonna chase me for it."
Gyako smiled a bit. This cat seemed to have a good heart, she just like to play a lot. Even if it called for theft in broad daylight. She kinda reminded him of the kittens back at Palas, without the theft part of course.
"Oh I think I should we should get back to Zonos," Gyako said, " he might be getting worried."
Gyako then heard a voice behind him.
"Am I interrupting something?"
