The campsite was in a clearing near the entrance of the forest. Gyako did not notice it the first time as he was too busy chasing Taiyka. He looked between a few trees. It had gotten dark really quickly.

Zonos had just finished gathering some sticks for the fire which he left that job to Taiyka. She blew an orange flame which burned the dry sticks with a crackling sound. Zonos proceeded to cut the fish with his tail blade into some large piece which he skewered with some smaller sticks and began to cook.

Taiyka offered to help with the cooking but was met with an "I'll manage" from Zonos.

"Hey do you know how long it take?" Gyako as the purple chef.

"Ten minutes and thirty seven seconds..." Zonos replied in and unenthusiastic voice while slowing rotating the fish on the flame.

"That's very exact," Gyako joked.

"I always cook to perfection..."

Well it looked like food was going to be a while but Gyako thought he could wait the ten minutes... and thirty seven seconds. Should be easy. Boy was he wrong. Once Gyako caught a wiff of the cooking fish, that heavenly smell, he realised how hungry he actually was. He had not eaten anything since he left Pallas that morning.

The hunger was starting to eat at him and watching Zonos cook made it worse, like time was slowing but his hunger was increasing. He decided he needed something to take his mind off it. He sat on one of the fallen logs and looked through his sachel. He pulled out a small book and a pencil and began to write down the events of the day. So much had happened anyways; leaving home, fishing with Zonos, trying to get the fish back from Taiyka, there was a good bit to write.

The writing did actually help as the only time when Gyako looked up again was when he was interruped by a "Whatcha got there?"

Taiyka had perched herself on the log next to Gyako's side, chomping down on a golden brown fish fillet. Gyako put down his pencil and lifted his book for the red cat to see.

"It's my journal now I guess, I'm gonna fill it all the adventures I go on. Starting with this one."

"Oooohh, hey did you write about me," Taiyka said as she scanned the pages for a mention of her. "You called me kitten like?! How rude!"

Gyako put his paws up in defense, "Hey you do seem like you have a playful nature."

She scoffs and continues reading, "I think thief is too much of a strong word, I just repossess other's property."

"That was not your's to begin with," Gyako adds.

"That's their problem okay" Taiyka says with a cheeky smile, "So mr. Adventurer, where ya headin'?"

"Well my next stop is Wikari I was gonna go there and resup-"

"Really!" The red cat screams cutting him off, "I live there!"

"Wow, you do?"

"Yeah, I could escort you there and show you around if you like, I know that town like the back of my paw."

"Well I guess it's settled then, we'll head there in the morning."

"Oh by the way, you gonna have dinner?" Taiyka says pointing to the pile of cooked fish next to Zonos.

"Oh yeah I forgot about that" Gyako says getting up, "Thanks."

Gyako approaches the mound of cooked fish. He was starving.
