During an art stream Metal hosted, he found he had finished up his queue partway through and asked if anyone had any commission ideas. None of us did, so he decided to draw up alternative interpretations of our characters where he'd draw them as he sees fit at no charge, and I offered up my Melee. This was the result: A knightly-looking May who finally manages to invest in a proper sword and real armor!

While I have dabbled with such an idea myself in the past, I would wind up going in a vastly different direction from Metal here that'd involve a more antiquated medieval armor design with cruder-looking plates and his femboy traits largely eliminated for story-based reasons. Still, it's fun to imagine that this is what Melee could've potentially looked like had he been allowed to keep up his girlish façade... after all, it's not a bad look for him! Maybe I'll experiment with it myself down the line... who knows? Until then, I hope you guys like this design Metal made for Melee as much as I did!
