Thanks! I remember coming up with the pattern for it as something...simple, but tedious as heck. It's just a bunch of vertical lines following the tower upward, slowly converging. And then I think it was 5 sets of horizontal lines all the way up the tower. I'd take copies of each of them and just....erase parts of the vertical lines to create the brickwork effect. Alot of layer management, measurement, and erasing, but very little drawing was needed to accomplish the effect. ...I'd probably stlil do it the same way if I did it today, but I haven't had to think of a smarter way yet. =p
