I still think its beautiful, even if it scanned like crap. Its a very surreal feeling piece.

I absolutely love the emotion this gives off to me: dark, violent, and flowing. I hope you do more work with India ink, I love the results you achieve with it. :3

Dude, that is totally sweet. It kinda makes me want to pull out the india ink and do some wash, and I haven't tried that since like... 1993 or something? Back in the beginning of college before I could draw.

Might do some small stuff, like bookmarks cause the original is pretty darn small as is! I made it to fit the smallest matting I have.

Also this is probably one of my favorite things ever. I love the drippiness and the black and white...just...there's no way I'll ever own this original, would you please consider selling some prints of it? :P I'd definitely buy one.

Might do prints (the original is just so small as is) but I'll certainly do little things like bookmarks.

Gorgeous! Seriously thought...How do you inject so much raw power and emotional energy into your work!? This for example, it really jumps off the paper (or the screen in this case) and comes to life, or makes me want to experience more.
This is really beautiful and I'm a bit speechless to be honest.

Serious replies to questions like that are hard. I mean, I can explain it, but it probably wouldn't make too much sense to explain why certain lines are in certain places and the reasons behind the poses. Its kind of like being home alone and listening to music that moves you. Sometimes ya just can't help but get up off the chair and move. Not really like dancing. Just feeling the energy flow. I used to do that a lot. Well, was kind of helpless to it. (Hey, I was young, what can I say!) After doing so much of that, there were certain points and poses of the form that felt representational to particular moods. Or shifts of them. I think those were always my favorite parts, going from one point to another at the music went up or down or sideways or new tones came in and crossed over or weaved with the other. When I do stuff like this one, at least in the sketching phase, its a lot of mentally going to this sort of stuff.

Basically, I come off like a crazy person when I attempt to explain myself. ;)

Actually that was rather succinct. As a viewer of someone else's creative energy, the baffling thing is this. This piece has a flow all to it's own. Something special and personal to you, but it translates into something special for other people as well. It's got life to it, beyond what a normal sketch or drawing or digital piece of art. It's moving.

Diluting the ink, I guess?

Oh man, this is beautiful... I really don't understand brushed ink. I have a hard enough time with watercolours puffing and pilling up my paper. -_- This is just... Beautiful. How you managed to get the gradient in the hair while keeping it so sharp is beyond me.
